- Bestia: One's race (e. g., human, fae, werewolf, nymph). Influenced by both biology and magic, and the realm one is born or lives in. It is not incorrect to be specific and mention one's rasi when asked about one's bestia.

- Lineage: One's heritage and bestia/rasa.

- Rasa (plural: Rasi): Ethnicity as related to one's bestia and magic (e.g., Astrarctian Werewolves, Fée).
- Realm: Sections of the world that have certain magical attributes and certain bestia and people. Going to a different realm may change one's magic, or at times bestia/rasa even, as the magic of a new place is lived in, but not always.
